Whether you are going home or to a great vacation spot for Christmas, we all know how stressful travelling can be. Driving in inclement weather conditions can be exhausting, and braving the security lines in your local airport can be such a drag. Well, today I’m here to make your packing easier.
If you are flying, you may be charged an arm and a leg to check a bag. If you can fit everything into a carry on, I highly recommend doing so. You definitely will eliminate any risk of your bags being lost, and you won’t have to wait for hours for your bag to finally arrive. Regardless, it can be easier to carry on some of the “bulkier” essentials. If your final destination is covered in ice, try sporting your UGGs and winter coat on the plane so that you have more room in your carry on or suitcase. The key to travel, whether by plane or by car, is to dress comfortably.

What are some of the essentials that belong in your suitcase? As it is the holiday season, I highly recommend packing an elegant LBD, black wedges, and an evening bag. At some point during your break, you will likely need an outfit that can be dressed up or down. Another must have item is a long sweater that can be paired with jeans or the leggings you wore on your flight. Other essentials include a great scar to add a pop to any outfit, and of course a fabulous pair of pajamas for Christmas morning.
