Global Fashion Inspiration: Meet the Magnificent Mihaela

I am so happy to kick off this last week in June by featuring another lovely blogger and participant in my global fashion inspiration project.   For those of you who may not be familiar with my initiative, a couple of months ago, I decided to feature fabulous bloggers in order to learn more about what inspires their fashion, etc.  I am currently compiling my submissions for an upcoming tribute post dedicated to all of the lovely fashionistas who participated.  Stay tuned!

Today is all about the stunning Mihaela Georgescu.  When I started blogging, a lot of people asked me what kind of people really blog.  The assumption is that blogging is for people who have nothing better to do.  I DISAGREE.  Mihaela is living proof of this.

While Mihaela is originally from Romania, she currently resides in France (lucky lady) and has served as a TRANSLATOR for ten years.  That is a pretty amazing role, and a lot of people have no clue how difficult this job can be.  When I was in my early twenties, I had the fortune of completing an internship in the World Health Organization in Geneva.  I worked alongside some of the best translators in the world, and I was in awe of what they did and the challenges they faced.  Like many of us, Mihaela has many other talents and decided one day that she wanted to express her own ideas by making jewelry.  Her jewelry is INCREDIBLE!!!   You can check out some of her amazing work on her blog by clicking here.

I absolutely love her zest for fun and color.  If you marvel at some of the awesome pieces she created, you will also notice the journey she shared with her readers in discovering her style.  Her inspiration? Butterflies, flowers, and other marvels of nature.  Her work is incredibly unique and a sight to behold.

Hope you all are inspired by yet another fabulous fellow blogger!

I’ll leave you with a shot of one of her fabulous creations.

ms beginnerb…it depends, often, on how you carry yourself..and her hair is not that that might be against policy..(i tried it, it looked awful at me…but a purple that has been known to work). actually I started to write this about the lovely featured blogger and her cool jewelry work and my belief that everyone has creativity…some dont have the time or energy to express it,, some fear they dont have “talent”…so sad…wouldn’t it be a very interesting world if everyone could spend some time being creative rather than worrying or blaming other folks for..whatever?..of course first, everyone would need shelter and clean water and enough food..and that’s still a challenge…ahhhh, i wake up dreaming …again
