iPic Theater Houston Grand Opening Party

Happy Friday Eve Friends!

A couple of years ago, I interned for a British law firm in Abu Dhabi, UAE.  One day after work, a group of us decided to go to the cinema, and after that visit, I vowed never to see another movie in Houston again. Why?  Well for starters, I was reclining in a massive leather chair, had unlimited popcorn delivered to be every half hour, and I was wrapped up in the softest blanket I have ever felt.  This was the antithesis of my local cinema in Houston that has cardboard seats, plastic popcorn, and is colder than Alaska That is until now!

I had the privilege of attending iPic Theater’s Grand Opening Party, and I finally feel like I can start frequenting my local theater!  The party had the vibes of a grand movie set, and the displays were incredible.

As a fashion blogger, I must shame myself, as coming straight from the office, I didn’t get the dress code memo which was of course red carpet fabulous.  Fortunately, I was surrounded by fabulous friends who helped distract from my wardrobe lameness.

Other than having the chance to see Spectre in the most comfortable seats ever before its official US release date, my favorite part of the night had to be the dessert bar and liquid nitrogen drink bar.  While I may not have been “thirsty”, I could not help but act as bartender for the day. 🙂

With the holiday season approaching comes the release of some of the best films of the year.  Fortunately, I know where I will be to check those out.
For my fellow Americans, click here to see if you have an iPic in your area!
Hope everyone is staying warm…or in my neck of the woods, less hot.

Let’s get connected friends!
