Product Review: c.Booth Vanilla Butter Body Lotion

I recently was selected by Influenster to test out a product of my choosing from c.Booth for FREE!  Well, you cannot say no to that.  To be honest, prior to my testing the Vanilla Butter Body Lotion, I had never used any c.Booth products.  While I had walked by c.Booth products on previous trips to Ulta, I am often hesitant to try new products.

With the weather jumping twenty degrees within a single day here in Houston, I was looking for a great product to keep my skin hydrated throughout the day.  Overall, I would give the Vanilla Butter Body Lotion an B+.

When it comes to a good lotion, I consider (1) cost, (2) hyrdration capabilities, (3) ease of application, and (4) scent.  Here’s my breakdown of c.Booth’s Vanilla Body Lotion produced by Freeman Beauty.

One bottle of c.Booth Vanilla Body Lotion retails for $9.99, but if you visit your local Ulta store, you can snag a bottle for half off!  Given that one bottle can last for months and months, I think the price point is great.

My sister and I lathered up with this lotion before a three hour walk in the cold, and while the product was initially fantastic in this area, the effects of the lotion were not long-lasting.  This is a product that you would need to re-apply frequently throughout the day.

I don’t know about you all, but I HATE sticky, thick lotions.  This product is great because it does not have that heavy feel.  The product is easily applied and should not leave you feeling like a wet dog.

When it comes to body and hand lotions, I prefer a relatively muted scent.  This lotion has just the right amount of vanilla, and the scent is not overbearing.

Have you enjoyed any c.Booth products?  Which ones were your favorite?
