Tis the Season for Love & Valentino

Happy Friday, Friends!  I cannot believe we are approaching Christmas already!  The one reminder I have is the nasty traffic filled with grumpy shoppers.  Hopefully you ladies and gents to do not fall among the lot of last minute anxious shoppers.  While I love Christmas, I have never been a nut about finding the “perfect gift”.  I also hate last minute efforts (thank you online shopping).

I certainly hope December is treating you well.  For me, I have been so busy with work and holiday party planning. Believe it or not, none of this holiday party planning is even for me!  I’ve helped some of my friends, and even my work,  put together last minute gatherings.

The only holiday party I attended this year was my work’s holiday luncheon. However, I did make a slight appearance at one of the events I helped plan for a friend. Here’s what I wore.

While I love playing dress up and sharing my fashion favorites, I often go to events straight from work. This is a work look that I took from daytime contact negotiations to evening holiday festivities.  And yes, you don’t always have to pull out that gold, red, or green dress.  Sometimes, it can be a good thing to shake it up.

My outfit breakdown:

Shoes: Valentino
Handbag: Sophie Hulme
Coat: Red Valentino
Leggings: Zara
Top: Forever 21

Whether I’m off to a night out with friends, or I’m headed to the office, I tend to stock up on basics and pop my look with a fun coat and/or shoes.  Having solid black leggings and long black tunics on hand makes life not only comfortable but easy as well.  I could take the same base of my look, and all I need to do is switch up my jacket.  While I don’t typically wear things twice in a row, no one would ever notice!

As we head into Christmas weekend, I hope that you will all have a safe, happy, and healthy holiday with your friends, pets, family, or even just yourself if you’re stuck alone for the holidays. I’ll see you all next week!

XOXO Mira-

I absolutely love them! They actually run rather small (anywhere from a half to a full size). I think the 2.5″ heel version is comfortable, but the higher heeled pairs are definitely harder on the feet. I can where the smaller heels for the entire work day without having any issues. They do run a bit narrow.
