Furry Friends Make Great Spring Fashion Trends

As a child, I always associated fur with cold climates and chunky sweaters.  It is looking like fur has decided to take over more than just the cold winter months.  Feminine and fun fur looks have found their way into spring and even summer pieces. Whether you prefer real or faux fur, there are loads of options to choose from.  Here are a few fur pieces that you can sport this spring that don’t scream  “help me, I’m freezing!”

Handbag: Fendi
Pumps: Steve Madden
Metallic & Faux Fur Jacket: Topshop
One Heart Pullover: Tu es mon Tresor

These looks actually incorporate a few trends you will be seeing all over the place over the next few months: metallics, pale pinks, and of course fur.

Here in Houston, it is hovering in the 60s, so of course for us Texans, that is slightly on the “chilly” side (no offense to those currently experiencing a winter blizzard).  As someone who loves a little fur and metallics any day, I decided to throw several trends together.  Whether you have a funky style, or you like to play it smooth, both fur and metallics can be as subtle or as crazy as you’d like them to be.

Handbag: Fendi
Handbag Charm: Fendi
Coat: Neiman Marcus
Booties: Tory Burch
Tunic: Top Shop
Leggings: Forever 21

For my friends suffering through a massive snow storm, I’m sending you happy, summery thoughts!  Unfortunately for you ladies and gents, fur is more of a mechanism to keep warm than a trend, but the end to the wintery chill is almost here.

Stay safe!!

Pale pink is so lovely. Adore it. That glittery jacket is exquisite. I would love to see the entire outfit head to toe, you standing. It is one of my all time faves and you look marvelous. This is a great picture of you. Cannot support fur though. Faux or otherwise. Thanks!
