Product Review: Noir Interdit by Givenchy

I was thrilled to receive the new Noir Interdit mascara by Givenchy.  Receiving complimentary products is always a win-win, as it is a great way try something without thinking “why did I waste a penny?” A week in, and I’m officially hooked!

“Interdit” in French means “prohibited” or “forbidden”, and fortunately this product will not be living up to its name in my house.   The most unique feature is of course the 90 degree brush.  For me this means less accidents. We have all had those moments where one wrong move lead to mascara everywhere….or maybe that’s just me.  All you have to do is dip the brush, bending it slightly to angle for precision.  It did take a bit of getting used to, but I’m all on board.

As a big Givenchy beauty fan, I have a list of favorite items, including fragrances, and oddly enough, one aspect to this mascara that I love is the mild but pleasant fragrance.

With my schedule, I spend about three minutes doing my makeup, and the brush and bold color make it easy to apply in just a matter of seconds.  All in all, I say this product is a must have!

Interested in giving the 90 degree angle a shot, shop Noir Interdit here! The mascara retails for $29.00 and can be purchased at your local department stores.  Sephora has a quick video in case you’re looking for tips on how to best the product.

Happy sampling!

I have smeared more mascara around my face than I would like to admit… I am not too specific on my mascara preference but I’m really interested in this- a 90° brush is something different. Do you find the mascara itself is lasting?
