About

Bienvenue, أهلاً وسـهلاً, Welcome!
Growing up in the Bible Belt with parents who immigrated to the US from the Middle East has given me a unique perspective on life, fashion, and art. However, my outlook has not always been so bright.  As a kid, my hair was “different”, my obsession with evil eyes was “strange”, and there was the whole problem of my blending three different languages.  As I have travelled the world and embraced countless cultures, I am thankful more than ever for growing up in a diverse environment. The art of fashion is a unique and delicate concept.
Through my travels, I have used fashion as a medium of self-expression, but it has also bonded me with others from different walks of life.  As a female attorney in a male dominated industry, I embrace the opportunity to use fashion as a means of standing out.  No color, pattern, or fabric is ever off limits.  The result?!!?  Countless times clients, opposing counsel, or even colleagues brilliantly recount a meeting or interaction with me because “how can you forget the woman in pink?”AdMIRAbly Legal depicts my fashion journey (mistakes and all) and highlights and embraces fashion trends across the globe.  Thank you for accompanying me on this journey!

As I recall, having a sense of style worked out well for another lawyer, Elle Woods/Reese Witherspoon in “Legally Blonde.” Thanks for stopping by my blog and glad you liked the photo. After all, we members of the bar have to stick together. 🙂

I wanted to just take a moment to thank you Mira for looking in on my blog. Hope it gave you a smile, or two, maybe three. Checking out your site I found there is more to you than meets the eye. I think you have a breathtakingly good grasp of how to handle yourself in your chosen field. Unique indeed and I like it. ;O)

thanks for stopping by my blog, The Fruitful Life. Your mention of the evil eye reminded me of a gift a friend bought for me on her trip to the Middle East. The evil eye was part of its charm, if you’ll excuse the pun.

Thank you so much! It is always such a joy “meeting” fellow attorney bloggers. There are quite a few of us, which is nice. I’m fortunate to be in an environment that is way less stiff, and some of the execs I work with even read my blog. 😉

Hey there, thanks for stopping by and reading my blog.
though I am not a big on clothes, I absolutely love all sorts of shoes. I liked the fact that you use fashion to express yourself, while many consider — from what I hear, see and have experienced for myself — it to be distracting or provocative, usually when women dress up like they wish to.
And you have got a really good blog.

Hey Mira my name is Juliany and I am a new blogger.I like your blog and was wondering if you could give me any tips toward building a community who appreciates my posts and will come back to my site for more.Since I am very new at this,I sometimes get overwhelmed with the many things it takes to build an awesome website.I know it takes time and I feel like I’ve progressed a lot since the two months I’ve blogged.I hope for your response soon and thanks for your time.

Hi Juliany! I would say the best way to start is by reaching out to other bloggers whether in the form of sending them a message or email or commenting on their posts. I am approaching a year of blogging, and that aspect has been the most fun to me. With time and with continuous posting, you will build a base. I’m definitely not an expert on building a community, but I would say be patient. It is definitely very overwhelming, and don’t be afraid if your style evolves over your first year. Good luck!!! 🙂
